The Caption Box is the umbrella company founded by A. David Lewis, covering academic, creative, and journalistic comic book work. In conjunction with companies and organizations like Red Eye Press and the Georgetown Lecture Fund, The Caption Box attempts to promote a wider awareness on the comic book medium from both a scholarly and entertainment perspective. Since 2000, tCB (formerly Serious-About-Comics, now exclusively focused on scholarly content) has been dedicated to working with new artistic and intellectual talent to further expand.
