I’ve been talking with Patton Dodd, a friend from my Boston University grad program days and new editor of OnFaith (that has recently moved from The Washington Post to FaithStreet.com), about Sacred & Sequential; he’s expressed an interest to have us do a week of content on comics and religion this summer, particularly in conjunction with July’s San Diego Comic-Con.
At the moment, I just wanted to measure people’s interest (particularly those who aren’t yet on the Sacred Matters project) and determine who might actually be going to San Diego this year. In addition to articles, Q&As, interviews, etc. that week, having a “correspondent” on the ground, as it were, might be rather attractive! I know Patton was specifically looking for scholars who could write for the everyman, not get lost in academiasma.
Who thinks their personal bandwidth (i.e. availability, not waist size) might match well with a late May, early June batch of mainstream-targeted pieces?
